A massive fire at a factory in Fareham involved over 80 fire fighters. Crews from around Hampshire as well as the Materials Detection Identification and Monitoring Team (HAZMAT) were called to the scene after fire fighters battled through the night to get the fire under control.

The flames are now out and no one had to be rescued or were injured. Crews remain at the scene to dampen and make sure the fire is out. The fire, which started at 11.45pm on the 26th February 2014, was already severe when the fire crews arrived.

The amount of damage is not yet known however it has been reported two thirds of the building has been destroyed. The cause of the fire is not yet known however a Hampshire Fire and Rescue spokes woman said the fire was not thought to be suspicious.
