Lockdown measures have been introduced across all of England this Thursday (05/11/2020) and after reviewing our Covid-19 procedures and seeking advice from BAFE we have confirmation that fire safety should continue to be enforced and should be upheld despite the current situation.

Earlier this year, BAFE reported that Ian Moore, CEO of the Fire Industry Association, had been informed by James Brokenshire, Minister of State for Security at the Home Office, that “security & fire safety personnel can play a vital role at this time of national challenge. People working in these sectors who are essential to national infrastructure are “Key Workers” for the purposes of the Government’s guidance on COVID-19.”

As a result we will continue to carry out servicing works and any additional remedial and new installation works as well as emergency call outs providing our technicians can carry out the work safely and in accordance with our Covid-19 procedures.

Like all businesses we have changed our way of working slightly which includes the majority of our office staff working from home so we apologise in advance if it takes us a little longer to get back to you than normal. Please rest assured we are here!

If you have any queries on our Coronavirus procedures, would like to see a copy of our risk assessment or to book an appointment please do call the office on 023 9247 0711 and we’ll be happy to help as always.

Please stay safe and we look forward to speaking to you soon.
